First Lady

First Lady Edriena Alexander
First, Edriena gives God all glory and honor for using her. Her goal is for God to say, "Servant, job well done". She is a passionate and invigorating teacher and preacher of God's word. Her gift came forth when she spoke at a Women's Day ministry at her home church. From this message, God opened many doors for her to continue telling others about His Son Jesus. Her biblical studies include,
How the Bible Came  to Be, Introduction to the New Testament, and Introduction to the Old Testament.

She is the mother of two beautiful children, Taylor and Isaiah. She is the daughter of Charles and Eva Daniel. Edriena is a graduate of McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA where she earned an A.A. in Secretarial Science and a B.S. in Business Communications.

Edriena has been the guest speaker for numerous church workshops, Boys and Girls Village, Women's Conferences, youth programs, as well as a motivational speaker in area schools. She is currently one of the middle and high school Bible teachers for Hamilton Christian Academy.

Additionally, she serves as president of the church’s Women's Missionary Society and she is also a Sunday School teacher for young adult women. With the support and help of the loving and giving women at Christian Baptist Church the following mission projects have been carried out ,donations to The Potters House, monetary donation for the building of a water well in Africa,  school uniforms purchased, and assisted Habitat for Humanity with building a home.

Edriena has a special anointing for women and girls. She believes that all women should know that her existence was predestined. God does not make mistakes and he does not manufacture junk. She emphasizes that God has a custom design for every woman, equipping each for specific achievement and purpose. She encourages women to embrace her gift and walk in it.

In addition, she began celebrating preteen and teenage girls through seminars entitled Created for Royalty - A Week of Elegance. The purpose of this weeklong training is to share with girls that they are a Divine Design created by God. They learn that they have a purpose in life; that they were ordained to be here; and they each have gifts, talents, and abilities. The training focuses on meet and greet skills, dining etiquette, social grace, presenting themselves as young ladies, and much more. The grand finale is the Royal Dinner where each girl is crowned with her own tiara. It is Edriena's belief that if they are to be all that God wants them to be, then they must have the confidence, boldness, and know who they are.

Edriena can be heard on the "I'm Coming Out" radio broadcast aired every Sunday at 2:00pm on KZWA 104.9 and Sunday 9:00am on 107.5 JAMZ, both out of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
